About Benjamin
Hi, my name is Benjamin Cramp. I am a High School student. I like to capture Time with Photography.
What gear do you use?
I use a Canon 1500d with a kit lens and a Canon 55-250mm. I also use a Manfrotto camera bag.
What type of photography are you into?
I am into Astrophotography and Landscapes. Wildlife is also very interesting to shoot. I love to go and take photos any chance I get.
How did you start photography? What inspires you?
I always wanted a camera and when I was 11 I got my first camera, a Sony Cybershot, and have recently upgraded to a DSLR which has let me do more with photography. What inspires me is capturing moments of time, taking a snapshot of what’s happening around me, showing things that will never happen again.

Top 3 photo/editing tips?
- Play around with the photo, to find out what you like.
- Ask others for their opinion, they may think of something you didn’t think of.
- Try to get the most detail out of the photos.
What has been your most memorable experience?
A most memorable experience is when I took my first photo of the Milky Way. Seeing it like that for the first time sparked my interest in Astrophotography.
If you had superpowers, what would yours be?
I would love to have the ability to fly. To see places that you can’t see easily on the ground would be incredible.
What have you been doing at home during this time?
Lots of Astrophotography and stargazing. Anytime I could go out to take photos of anything I would, it helps me to escape from what’s happening at the moment.
