In our latest video, Liv and Josh share how to set up the Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro Switcher breakdown for all the exciting updates. The Blackmagic ATEM Mini Pro is a prosumer switcher able to take in 4 HDMI inputs and switch between them live. It also has the ability to see all your feeds plus record directly to an SSD! Liv & Josh will also and show you how to get up and running with the ATEM.
Design & Performance
The ATEM Mini Pro design is sleek, compact, and looks almost identical to the Atem Mini, with the same ports on the back end. It has an easy-to-use plug-and-play operation which makes it easy to control the feature available. The ATEM Mini Pro will allow you to record directly with an SSD Drive, multi-view function to check your framing, control via computer or software, and being able to hit record on each individual camera. Also, the ATEM Mini Pro will condense the output even if you connect different cameras at different frame rates and resolutions, creating a smooth live stream.
With the latest update for the Mini and Mini Pro, you can also control the Blackmagic Pocket 4 and Pocket 6 cameras via the ATEM Software controls, which will show a tally light to signal that it’s live and recording. Also, in the software control, not only will you be able to see all you in-puts for multi-view, but it also shows additional windows including audio, SSD storage, and whether or not you’re recording, the status of your live stream and media player 1 to check your slides.
