Sigma have come out with three brand new mirrorless lenses designed for the Sony FE mount and L mount (Panasonic, Leica, Sigma) and they are going to be killer.
Sigma 35mm F1.2 Art
Sigma’s first ever F1.2 aperture lens and it’s sure to shake up the lens market. The lens has an optical construction of 17 elements in 12 groups, including three SLD elements and three aspherical lenses, one of which is a double-sided aspherical lens. This is sure to be a killer with portrait users and everyday photography users.
Sigma 14-24MM F2.8 Art
Designed for landscapers and astrophotographers, the Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 ART will deliver ultra wide performance with great low light capabilities. The lens uses 11 rounded aperture blades and an optical construction of 18 lens elements in 13 groups, including one FLD element, five SLD elements, and three aspherical elements to help combat abberations/distortion. In addition coated with NPC to reduce flaring and ghosting.
Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary
Looking to target the masses, the Sigma 45mm F2.8 is designed to be a versatile prime lens with good low light performance, sharpness and retaining that vintage look.The lens is super portable and compact constructed with a 7-blade aperture diaphragm and an optical design of 8 elements in 7 groups.
