Imagine losing your camera and then it reappears again in two years on the shore of a beach in Taiwan. A group of Taiwanese schoolboys were cleaning the shore of a beach when one of them found a mysterious object that was filled with barnacles. It was a Canon G12 compact camera in an underwater housing and to everyone’s surprise, it was in perfect working condition.
The photos from the camera were posted on Facebook as a public post in an attempt to find the owner. It seems like it was fate for the camera was to return back to its owner as it’s owner Serina confirmed that they were her photos 24 hours later.
Serina had lost the camera during a dive off the coast of Ishigaki in Okinawa. The camera slipped out of her hands and it disappeared. She had accepted the loss and assumed that she had lost it forever. It is unsure whether she has gone to Taiwan to pick up her camera however she had said that she will be heading there to collect her beloved Canon camera.
